Automatic Transfer Switch Q Series

Automatic and Electric Transfer Switch: ZSEE Q series integrates switching and logic control, requiring no external controller to achieve electromechanical automation. It features voltage detection, frequency detection, communication interface, fire feedback, electrical and mechanical interlocks, and can perform automatic, electric remote, and emergency manual control.

Operation is managed by a logic control board that sends various logic commands to control the motor and gearbox operation. The motor drives the switch spring’s energy storage and releases it instantly through an acceleration mechanism to quickly connect or disconnect circuits or switch between circuits. This creates a clearly visible state that ensures safe isolation, greatly improving electrical and mechanical performance.

Switches below 100A are designed with a compact and robust metal housing. For switches above 100A, the control part uses a metal housing with automatic and electric control modes, while the switch housing is made of unsaturated polyester glass fiber-reinforced molded plastic, offering strong dielectric performance, protection, and reliable operational safety.

The switch is suitable for automatic switching between the main and backup power supplies of power systems or between two load devices and for safe isolation. The switch design is aesthetically pleasing, simple, and compact.

Product Characteristics

  1. Phase Angle Detection Technology

Balanced three-phase load is essential for safe power supply. Unbalanced three-phase load can reduce the efficiency of power lines and distribution transformers, and in severe cases, may lead to serious consequences like wire burnout, switch damage, or transformer single-phase burnout.

The ZSEEQ series automatic transfer switch controller uses phase angle detection technology. If there is a significant three-phase imbalance in the distribution circuit, with a phase voltage absolute difference greater than 120V, the switch will automatically switch to the backup power supply (quality power source), ensuring the safe operation of the distribution circuit and load equipment.

  1. Self-test Function

The ZSEEQ series automatic transfer switch has a self-test function, allowing detailed checks on power supply, voltage, phase, frequency, and actions. This facilitates regular inspections of the automatic transfer switch by customers.

  1. Fault Alarm

When there is a fault in the power distribution circuit, such as incorrect N-line connection, power failure, overvoltage, undervoltage, missing phase, abnormal phase, or excessive frequency, the ZSEEQ will display a fault code via the LED and issue an alarm. This alerts the user to problems with the main or backup power source, preventing accidents caused by power quality issues.

  1. Memory Storage Function

The ZSEEQ series automatic transfer switch has a memory storage function. When the control system detects a fault, the information is automatically stored in the memory chip, making it easy to query the fault information and its cause.

  1. Control Section

The ZSEEQ series uses SMT manufacturing processes to ensure the reliability of electronic material soldering. The control system isolates strong and weak currents in the detection circuit using photoelectric or magnetic principles. The controller monitors the voltage, frequency, and phase of both power sources in real-time. The system uses isolated current signal-driven control mechanisms. Compared to voltage signal driving, current signal driving has stronger anti-interference capabilities, and isolation technology improves system safety. The ZSEEQ series has passed EMC testing in accordance with GB14048.11, and the fast transient pulse meets the technical requirement of 2kV/5kHz specified in GB14048.11.

  1. Built-in Arc Extinguishing Grid

The ZSEEQ series automatic transfer switch includes an internal arc extinguishing grid, significantly enhancing ATSE’s switching capacity.

  1. Integrated Special Pressure Signal Transmission Template

The ZSEEQ series uses an integrated special pressure signal transmission template for signal transmission, enhancing the electrical insulation level and the interference resistance of signal transmission. It also replaces the traditional micro-switch signal transmission method, ensuring ATSE reliability.

  1. Transmission Mechanism

The switch uses a dual-gear transmission mechanism made of modified nylon, significantly extending the gear’s lifespan and reducing noise, further enhancing the reliability of the ATSE transmission system.

  1. Networking Capability

The ZSEEQ series uses the SuperViewer software system to enable networked management. The upper computer can monitor and modify parameters for multiple automatic transfer switches in the distribution loop in real-time, achieving intelligent management.
