Mechanical Emergency Pump Start Device: ZSEE C1 series is a mechanical emergency pump start product based on a contactor as the main component, designed and developed specifically for fire water supply systems with a manual forced start function. It meets the requirements of “Chapter 11: Control and Operation” in GB50974-2014 “Technical Code for Fire Water Supply and Fire Hydrant Systems” regarding the manual mechanical closing function of fire pumps. When fire linkage or automatic control fails (malfunctions), the pump can be manually forced to start locally by personnel, ensuring the normal operation of the fire pump during emergencies to protect lives and property.

The product is suitable for starting, stopping, and related control of motors with an AC frequency of 50Hz (or 60Hz), a rated operating voltage of 380V or below, and a rated operating current of 500A or below. It can also be used in conjunction with thermal relay products to provide real-time protection for motors.

The product offers two start modes: single-unit direct start and two-unit direct start in a delta configuration, making it suitable for mechanical emergency start of fire pumps in different scenarios and power ratings, effectively meeting the diverse needs of customers.

Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m

Ambient temperature: Not higher than +40°C and not lower than -5°C, with an average temperature not exceeding +35°C over 24 hours

Atmospheric conditions: At +40°C, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures. The average minimum temperature in the wettest month should not exceed +25°C, and the average maximum relative humidity in that month should not exceed 90%, taking into account condensation on the product due to temperature changes.

Pollution level: Level 3

Installation category: Category III

Installation conditions: The installation surface should not have an inclination greater than ±5° relative to the vertical surface

Shock and vibration: The product should be installed and used in places free from significant shaking, shock, or vibration.

Application Scope

Primarily used for controlling fire pumps and other types of motors with AC frequency of 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated insulation voltage of 1000V, and rated operating voltage of 380V and operating current up to 500A under AC-3 category. It is widely applied in light industry, metallurgy, coal mining, railroads, residential buildings, offices, and other industrial and civil buildings' fire pump control cabinets as well as other pump control cabinets. It can also be used as a conventional contactor product.

  • Above 110A: 110, 220 (unmarked), 380

Note:

  1. Depending on the current and start method, the ZSEEC1-SD series can be equipped with various specifications of external operation handles. For details, refer to the model and appearance appendix in the sample. Confirm the specific handle specifications with the business department before ordering.
  2. For products below 95A, the control power supply voltage is AC. For products above 110A, the control power supply voltage is AC and DC dual-use.

Note:

  1. When ordering the ZSEEC1-110~500/3SDZ series, the auxiliary contact A21R should be ordered as Fxx/xx. The left contactor is placed at the front and the right contactor at the back by default. If one of the units does not require auxiliary contacts, it should be marked as 00. Example: ZSEEC1-110/3SDZF21/00, ZSEEC1-500/3SDZF12/33.
  2. When purchasing the A21R accessory separately, the order model does not need to be filled in; only A21R needs to be specified.
